Mold hot runner system

The two plate mold have two injection system: hot runner and cold runner. This blog will introduce the hot runner to you, if you have interests, please keep on browsing.
Hot runner is through heating methods to ensure that the runner and gate plastic to keep meltblown situation. And the system is contained tip, manifold plate, temperature controller and some spare parts. The hot runner have two kinds: valve pin gate and big gate.
Valve pin gate hot runner: this way could save some plastic material, and the product surface looks nice. For the valve pin gate, could use in water filter, auto parts, home appliances, precision products,etc.
Pin gate hot runner: The point gate position limit is small, the gate mark is small, the gate can be automatically pulled off when opening the mold, which is conducive to automatic operation.
Big gate openning gate hot runner: the struture is easier, and for the PET material mold, hot runner is widely use. This kind are widely use, as if your product length is ver then 300mm, then we will recommend to use hot runner, it is good for the material flow.
And compare the hot runner and cold runner, hot runner advantage :

3.reduce the cycle time
4. do not need to use three plate mold and could use pin point gate
5. could use side gate to produce
6. product surface looks nice
